Behind the Scenes

It takes a lot of people to make our giveaways happen each month. Not only do administration and donation collection keep us busy but we also have several groups who work really hard togive back a little extra each month. Our Beyond the Basics group make items that go beyond the basic items we giveaway each month, like Just Because bags, join their group here: www.facebook.com/groups/btbatxahh. We also have our Gettin’ Knotty Guild who knits and crochets washcloths, hats and scarves. Join their Facebook group here:www.facebook.com/groups/atxahhgettinknotty.

Outside of these two groups youth organizations, like Girl Scouts, complete service hours helping to make First Aid kits, collect donations, help during giveaways… ATXAHH will gladly sign off on hours for anyone in youth programs such as this.
