Just nine days left until the July giveaway! We have several things on our green light list that we are completely out of. Those include: men’s socks, men’s underwear, sunscreen, nail clippers, hand sanitizer, and first aid kits. To see the complete traffic light shopping guide, please click here.

mosquito carrying personOne item that is very popular is insect repellent! If you live in Texas, you know what I’m talking about… our state bird, the mosquito. We had all that wonderful rain that filled up Lake Travis, but it also created standing water for mosquitoes to breed (and breed and breed) in.
Cans of insect repellent are always welcome! You can find them at HEB, Target, REI… well, darn near any store this time of year. We also have insect repellent wipes on our Amazon wish list (free shipping with Prime!). They always go very quickly at our giveaways.

We are also still accepting bras! As you read in the June donations thank you post, we’ve already received over 300 bras – wow!! If you still have some bras that you’d like to donate, don’t worry – the bra drive stretches through the month of July. There’s still plenty of time to clean out your drawers!

If you’re in the Austin area & would like to make a donation, we’ll be happy to pick it up! We have volunteers from Kyle to Cedar Park and everywhere in between. Please email donations@austinhumanistsatwork.org. Our donations coordinator will put you in touch with the nearest volunteer. You can make pick up arrangements that work with your schedule.
You can also bring your donation to the giveaway! For more info on where to go, please click here.

Dumbledore knittingCome make a little piece of magic with the ATXHAW Gettin’ Knotty group! We’re meeting on Thursday, July 14, at the Barnes & Noble in the Arboretum, from 7-10 PM. We sit in the cafe area, drink coffee, chat, and create. (Wands are optional.)
Don’t know how to knit or crochet? Not a problem. We’ll be happy to teach. Please email info@austinhumanistsatwork.org for more information.

We hope you’ve had a great week! See you next Sunday!
